DISCOVERY™ Service Levels in Detail
DISCOVERY™ Basic
This service tier is free but invite-only.
Under the DISCOVERY™ Basic service tier, we distribute samples only to non-retail collaborators showcasing books, such as Livres Canada Books, Books from Scotland, Books from Wales and similar, as well as general book discovery sites rather than bookshop and ecommerce sites.
DISCOVERY™ Light
This is a paid service starting at £250/€250/$390 per year (excl. VAT) and allows a publisher to enrol their entire catalogue. There are no rate limits or viewing limits.
Under this service we distribute samples to bookshops and retailers across the world who use the DISCOVERY™ preview samples for their ecommerce sites, in email newsletters and elsewhere to improve the discoverability of both print books and ebooks. This service covers a publisher's entire catalogue (to the extent digital assets are available) for one flat annual fee.
This service also includes, as a complimentary feature, our pre-order promotions with selected retailers such as Blackwell's, Foyles and others who send out email newsletters featuring upcoming releases with "sneak peek" previews.
Books enrolled in DISCOVERY™ Light are automatically included in DISCOVERY™ Basic, as appropriate to each partner's site criteria.
DISCOVERY™ Professional
This is a paid service starting at £290/€290/$490 per year (excl. VAT) and allows a publisher to enrol their entire catalogue. There are neither rate limits nor viewing limits.
This service includes all the features of the DISCOVERY™ Light service, such as sample distribution to bookshops and retailers, and our pre-order program.
In addition, this service tier supports the use of our click & read samples on a publisher's website, in a publisher's email newsletters and as part of publisher's author care. We also offer the option of including samples as iframes on a publisher's website. Several partners that build websites for publishers, such as BookSwarm and Readerbound, have in-depth experience integrating our samples into publisher websites.
DISCOVERY™ Professional also supports Open Access (OA) ebooks (we treat them as 100% samples) and the submission of pre-formed samples (instead of us creating the sample from the master file).
Last, but not least, DISCOVERY™ Professional clients enjoy priority client support.
DISCOVERY™ Enterprise
This is a paid service starting at £50,000/$100,000 per year (excl. VAT).
This service includes all the features of the DISCOVERY™ Professional service plus whatever bespoke elements are agreed between the publisher and Jellybooks, such as API access to our engagement and reading data, multi-tier user access and admin privileges, a branded Jellybooks Cloud Reader, support for the publisher's DNS, VIP customer support and other features.
